Personal data collected by C&T for recruitment purposes will be kept confidential and will be made available only for persons related to the recruitment process, including relevant staff members of our Human Resources Department, hiring managers and/or their delegates, service providers who assist C&T to handle recruitment related matters.
Where permitted by applicable local laws, C&T may also disclose the personal data to one or more of the following third parties (in or outside Hong Kong) in the following situations:
any companies, authorized agents or service providers fulfilling contractual obligations on behalf of C&T;
any other person under a duty of confidentiality to C&T who has undertaken to keep such information confidential;
any person to whom C&T is obligated or required to make disclosure under any applicable law or under any order or guidance given or issued by any court, legal, regulatory, governmental, law enforcement or other authorities;

We will not disclose or transfer the personal data to any third party not specified above without your expressed consent.
Successful applicants’ personal data collected during the recruitment process will become part of their personnel records and will be used for employment purposes. After an application for employment is successful, the personal data about the successful applicant may also be retained during the period of their employment with C&T.
All personal data collected from unsuccessful applicants will be destroyed as soon as possible within two years after completion of the relevant recruitment exercises for future recruitment purposes. In case there are suitable vacancies for an applicant, the personal data retention period may go beyond two years with the prescribed consent from the applicant.
